This is a side view of the forge.  I am really quite happy with how this is coming along so far.  The forge is a hand fired forge that was common in the late 1800s and early 1900s.  To force air into the forge, the blacksmith spins the heavy wheel on the side which connects to a blower.  The wheel continues turning for a few seconds due to its weight which continues to feed air to the coals while the smith works on the metal piece he is forging.  The box nest to the smith's table is filled with real coal.  I busted up a chunk of coal and filtered the pieces for size.  The shovel is for "stoking" the forge.  The tools next to the forge are a smith's hammer and a pair of tongs.
