Forum Guidelines
These rules govern the participation in this forum by those granted membership by the owners/administrators. They are subject to change as instances arise requiring clarification of tolerated or non tolerated behavior and the ways in which users may or may not access the resources of this forum, its owners and administrators. The administrators of this forum have limited "real time" control over the general behavior of users and the allowance of a person to participate does not necessarily mean that they share the views, opinions or beliefs of the owners/administrators. Users are "at their own risk" when they participate here and are expected to remember that.
The following is a list of rules put forth by the owners/administrators and all members are subject to these rules as long as they choose to participate here.
1. This forum has a "no flaming" policy. This means that we will not tolerate offensive or threatening posts aimed at other members, the moderators or administrators. The defining of offensive behavior is the sole privilege of the owners/administrators and will include (but not be limited to), foul language, personal threats, personal insults, and statements generally considered to be slanderous.
If a disagreement arises, it should be taken up first with the moderator of the forum involved. If the complainant feels it has not been properly dealt with, they may then take it up with the administrators. The instance will be reviewed by the management team made up of all the moderators and the administration. The decision of this body will be binding and final. Any attempt to continue the disagreement and/or expand it to other forums/topics will be denied through the deletion of offending posts by the moderators and administrators. If the behavior continues, the offender(s) will be banned from further use of the forum.
2. Moderators are expected to police their forum for inappropriate behavior as well as frivolous or outdated posts. In an attempt to minimize the incurring of added costs due to a need for increased web storage space, moderators will archive or delete posts (after a certain amount of time has passed) which they feel to be of little relevance to a topic, or posts that become outdated. An example of an outdated post would be a listing for a club meeting or miniatures show after the event has passed.
3. Commercial solicitation is prohibited in the general forums. If a person wishes to set up a link for a commercial site, or wishes to have a commercial site hosted, they should contact the administrators.
4. Use of the resources of this site, specifically the storage of images or texts, is strictly governed by the owners/administrators. We reserve the right to refuse any usage of our storage space that does not conform to the intended purpose of this forum, which is for the sharing of knowledge and civil discourse between members. Any usage beyond that implied requires a written agreement between the user and the owners/administrators. Pornographic or slanderous image posting in the Photo Gallery of this forum will not be tolerated and will be deleted immediately.
5. The owners/administrators make no assurances that the material posted by users of this forum is original and free of copyright. Any question of copyright infringement should be brought to the attention of the administrators who will take steps necessary to protect the owners of any copyrights in question. Any user who contributes material is implying by their action of posting said material that they own or have permission to use such material. All trademarks mentioned in post are the property of the trademark owner. The responsibility of obtaining permission to post copyrighted material is the responsibility of the user making the post.
6. By their participation in this forum, it is implied that the users agree to hold the owners/administrators free of liability brought on by the actions of said user. Users/members of this forum have no rights other than the right to participate in forum discussions by making posts or other actions based on the login and password rights given to them by the administration. These rights cannot be transferred to another person and are subject to revocation by the owners/administrators based on the compliance or non compliance of the user with the stated rules.
7. These rules are subject to change without notice, based on management and owner/administrative review.
